2. Purposes of processing

• user registration and authentication (email, Telegram);
• operating the bilateral search service: comparing descriptions of the person sought between users and creating matches;
• notifications about search progress and matches via email and the Telegram bot;
• moderation, prevention of abuse and fraud, protection against automated attacks;
• legally significant correspondence (email confirmation, account recovery).

3. Categories of data processed

We process:

• email and password hash;
• first name, last name, and display name, if you provided them;
• the content of your search profile: description of yourself and the person you are looking for (appearance, place, period, circumstances) — this may constitute personal data of a third party you are searching for;
• photos you upload for exchange within a match;
• Telegram ID and username, if you linked Telegram for verification (Tier 2);
• IP address and technical logs — for abuse protection and action auditing;
• technical session and CSRF-protection cookies. The site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

If you provide information about a third party (the person you are looking for) in your profile, you confirm that you do so lawfully and voluntarily, without intent to cause harm.

4. How we process data

Data is stored in the service's database and processed, including automatically: the matching algorithm compares profiles and scores their similarity. A match is never created by a fully automated decision without the possibility of recourse — you may contact the operator regarding any question about the processing of your data.

5. Who data is shared with

The following processors and services are used to operate the service:

• email service — for sending confirmation and notification emails;
• Telegram Bot API (Telegram FZ-LLC) — for verification and notifications via the Telegram bot; data is transferred outside the Russian Federation;
• Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) — form protection against automated requests; data is transferred outside the Russian Federation;
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — resolving city and coordinates from the address given in the search profile; data is transferred outside the Russian Federation;
• unpkg.com (CDN) — loading the interface's static library (HTMX); when the page loads, your browser contacts this server directly and your IP address is transferred outside the Russian Federation.

Personal data is not shared with or sold to any other third parties, including advertising networks.

6. Retention period

Data is retained while the account is active. When an account is deleted, personal data is anonymized: name, email, photos, and profile content are removed; de-identified technical match records may be retained to preserve the data integrity of the other side of a match.

7. Your rights

• obtain a copy of your data — the Profile section lets you export your data as a single file;
• correct inaccurate data — by editing your profile and search profile;
• delete your account and withdraw consent to processing — the delete account button in your profile;
• object to automated processing — by contacting the operator.
